Kirk Redman is an established teacher and performing guitarist. He has been studying classical guitar since the age of eight, and has been teaching classical and fingerstyle guitar for the past decade and, while teaching in Cincinnati, was voted best music instruction in the East by Cinci Magazine. A graduate of the prestigious College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati and the University of Denver, he performed regionally and regularly presented engaging and varied concert programs throughout the Midwest before relocating to Denver. Kirk currently resides in Georgia where he is working toward a doctor of musical arts degree studying with Daniel Bolshoy. He enjoys bringing rarely heard music to a wide audience, both as a solo performer as well as in various chamber settings including the DNT Guitar Trio. He has studied privately and in masterclasses with such influential musicians as Jonathan Leathwood, Pavel Steidl, Zoran Dukic, Oscar Ghiglia, and Jason Vieaux.
